Student Council would like to thank all those students and staff who supported the 2015 Can-Can food drive. The total count set a new record this year at 2,215 items. The staff at Penn House Food Bank were overwhelmed with the results of your efforts. Thanks so much for your contributions and your support of the Can-Can Activity Night (money from this support Student Council sponsorship of a family in need each year during the holidays). Winners of the class parties by grade are Ms. Tallman 6th grade, Mr. Trujillo 7th grade and Ms. L. Jones 8th grade.
Artists, we need YOUR help!
Your task: create a STOMP bookmark! All entries will be displayed in the cafeteria and you’ll vote for your 5 favorite designs! The winning designs will be given to families at conferences and distributed to all LMCMS students!
The 2015 Mustang 7th and 8th grade boys’ and girls’ track team will begin practice Monday, March 9th at 3:30pm in the Duver Gym. Students who are interested in participating should attend an informational meeting Tuesday, February 10th in the auditorium during advisory. Students who are interested in participating must have a current sports physical, insurance form, and other necessary forms completed and turned into Ms. Schnacke . If you have already participated in one of the following sports, this school year at Central, you do not need to redo your forms ( Girls 8th Grade Volleyball, Boys 8th Grade Football, 7th/8th Grade Girls Tennis, Boys or Girls 8th Grade Girls Basketball, 8th Grade Cheer Squad, or 7th/8th Grade Wrestling). If you have any questions or need to pick up the necessary forms please see Ms. Schnacke in the office, Mr. Henrichs in room 201, or Mr. Forkenbrock in room 311.

First, pick up a novel from the library and find a non-fiction book that would go with it! OR, pick up a non-fiction title and match it with a novel. Once you’ve found your pair, pick up and fill out a companion book sheet and add it to our Fiction meets Reality bulletin board!
