Lawrence Diploma-Completion Program
Did Your Class Graduate Without You?
The Lawrence Diploma-Completion Program Can Help
The Lawrence Diploma-Completion Program may be just what you are looking for to accomplish the goal of completing your high school diploma. The Lawrence Diploma-Completion Program opened August 1, 2004. It is located in the Centennial Adult Education Center at 2145 Louisiana Street.
Sharen Steele is the administrator of the program, which is designed to primarily accommodate students who are 18 years of age or older and whose class has already graduated from high school.
Students who enroll receive a transcript review by high school counselors to determine how many credits are needed to complete requirements to receive a high school diploma. Upon completing the necessary credits, students receive a Lawrence Free State High or Lawrence High School diploma, depending on which school they previously attended or the attendance center boundary where they currently reside. Students also receive a completed transcript and grade point average.
The Lawrence Diploma-Completion Program is open August 1-June 30. Interested parties may call (785) 832-5960 with questions or to enroll.
Don't miss this opportunity to "complete a diploma and complete a dream" with the Lawrence Diploma-Completion Program.
