Wellness Committee Representatives
Each school/building has a Wellness Representative. This is a voluntary, non-paid position, which each Wellness Representative willingly takes on, in addition to his/her individual everyday work responsibilities. These individuals are essential components of the LPS Staff Wellness Program. They help to disseminate LPS Staff Wellness Program information in a timely manner to their designated site, promote active participation in wellness activities, advocate for policies that support healthy lifestyles, help to coordinate wellness activities within their designated site, attend 3-4 Staff Wellness Committee meetings a year, and assist in evaluating the impact of the activities offered through the LPS Staff Wellness Program,
Remember to take a moment to thank your Wellness Representative for all she/he does to help to make health and wellness a priority for your school/worksite!
