Thank you for your interest in Lawrence Public Schools. Please review the following information and then proceed to the Online Application by clicking the BEGIN Icon at the bottom of the page.
There are FOUR documents that must be submitted in addition to your online application in order for your application to be complete:
- Application Questions (Found on the Insert Tab within the applicaiton)
- Three Reference Inserts (from online application) or College Placement File.
- Copies of College Transcripts. (Original official transcripts will be required upon employment.)
- Copy of State Teaching or Specialist Certificate/License. If pending, submit a copy immediately upon receipt and update the online application Certificates Tab. (The Employer Copy will be required upon employment.) To be hired as a certified employee with Lawrence Public Schools, you must hold a current valid Kansas License. If you do not have a current Kansas license, click here to contact the Kansas State Department of Education for information on obtaining the appropriate Kansas License.

Apply:
You may view or apply for Current Open Positions at any time. You must be logged in as a registered user in order to apply for a specific open position. Administrators will initially consider applicants who applied for specific vacant positions. Therefore, it is critical you frequently review vacancies and apply for specific positions when they become available.
To view the open positions you have applied for click on the Open Jobs tab (located on the top menu bar).
The positions you select on the Preference Tab under the prioritized position/assignment section reflect your interest in positions not posted.

Every tab has a Help Screen. READ the Help Screen BEFORE completing a tab at the top of the screen. You can access the Help Screen two ways--On the top menu select the word HELP or at the bottom of the screen select the icon with the ? mark. Required fields are designated with an *.

Incomplete Online Applications:
If you do not submit your completed application within ninety (90) days, it will be removed from our online system. Applications will be active for one year from the submit or change date.
